Croeso i bawb! Welcome to Nottage Explorers! Thank you for allowing us: Miss Phillips, Miss Smith, Miss Gethin, Mrs Williams, Miss Moore, Mrs Newton-Williams and Mrs Lewis to take part in your child’s learning journey.
Nursery and Reception have now come together as one unit to utilise all of our exciting, stimulating and fun areas of learning. We strive to create a safe, inclusive environment where all of our learners are happy and enjoy the start of their school life. You can share in their excitement by using Class Dojo where you will be able to see regular updates on your child’s learning and experiences. With the outdoor environment becoming a huge aspect of the Curriculum for Wales, we endeavour to venture outdoors, where here at Nottage, we are lucky to have great spacious areas outdoors to do this.
At Nottage, our Explorers are introduced to Letterland, progressing on to Letters and Sounds and exploring Numicon resources. We whole heartedly believe that the well-being of our learners is a priority in their development.
An Explorer day is a busy day with plenty of fresh air, friendship and fun - a sure-fire recipe for a good night's sleep!

To inspire the next generation of Engineers and Scientists, we utilise projects such as the Green Goblin Car competition and links with industrial partners such as Renishaw to enrich our Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics curriculum
